Which team are the best in Europe at keeping the ball moving?

2/20 Manchester United – 1.

Real Madrid 1 Manchester United are the reigning Champions League winners and European Champions.

However, they are the last team in the Champions League and European Super Cup groups to win a trophy in their opening season.

With just one win from their opening two games, United are now looking for a sixth straight trophy after going through a string of defeats.

In their first two games against Real Madrid, Manchester United failed to score and conceded three goals.

The Red Devils will hope their second-half performance against the Bernabeu will be more encouraging and give them confidence ahead of the rest of the season.

Barcelona – 2.

Bayern Munich 3 Bayern Munich have won the European Champions League four times and the Champions Trophy three times in a row.

However they lost their opening game of the campaign to Real Madrid 2-0 on penalties in their group stage game against PSG.

Bayern are one of the best teams in the world and they are set to host Manchester United in the quarter-finals this season.

Bayern have only won once in their last 10 Champions League games against rivals Barcelona.

Real Sociedad – 3.

Bayer Leverkusen 1 Barcelona are currently in Group B with Bayern Munich and Real Sociead.

They lost their opener against PSV Eindhoven 2-1 on penalties and their opening three matches against Manchester United, Juventus and Real Madrid saw the teams draw.

They are currently bottom of Group B and the only team from their group that is without a win in their first seven games is Bayer Leverzhausen, who have scored just two goals in their previous nine games.

Liverpool – 4.

Arsenal 3 Liverpool are currently sitting fourth in the Premier League table.

They have only scored five goals in eight games and are also the only Premier League team without a clean sheet in their debut campaign.

However Liverpool’s last four games have seen them score four goals and concede only two.

Liverpool are one goal behind Chelsea in the race for the Premier Leagues title.

Watford 1 Watford have struggled to get a win against any of the top four sides in the league, but they have not been the worst when it comes to conceding goals.

They only scored one goal in their three defeats to Chelsea and Manchester United.

Southampton’s last three fixtures have seen the Hornets score four and concede two goals.

Tottenham Hotspur 0 Tottenham have won five of their past six games.

They defeated Arsenal 3-2 in the opening fixture of the Premier Super Cup on the opening day of the new campaign and then beat Arsenal 2-2 on penalties.

They had the better of the second half of their second match against Arsenal, but lost 4-1.

Leicester 1 Leicester have not conceded a goal in any of their last six Premier League games.

The Foxes have conceded just one goal from their last three Premier League fixtures and are unbeaten in the first five games.

Leicester have a good defensive record against Arsenal but their first four fixtures have been their worst.

They were eliminated from the competition in the group stages by Arsenal, Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain.

Bayern is not the best side in the top flight and their only victory so far came against Bayer Leverhausen in the second round of the Champions Leagues.

Bayern’s last game was a 2-3 home defeat against Bayer on penalties after they were denied a penalty.

They will hope they can take a positive step forward against Manchester City at Old Trafford on Saturday, with the German side the only other team in their Group B.  9.

Manchester City – 4-0-3.

Man City 0 Manchester City have scored six goals in seven matches against teams from the other group in the Europa League.

Their first five matches have been against Borussia Dortmund and Barcelona.

They also beat Arsenal in the last two Champions League matches.

Liverpool 2.

Manchester Chelsea 1 Liverpool have scored five or more goals in six of their opening seven matches.

They won two of their first three matches and have been without a loss in their four matches.

Their last two fixtures have shown them to be a solid team, with Liverpool scoring four and conceding just one.

They face Manchester United at Oldham Athletic on Saturday.

They played Liverpool at Old Etonian Stadium on Tuesday and lost 2-4.

Their most recent win was against Bayer.

Their only loss has come against Real Sociesad.
